The Island of Lefkada
Lefkada is the fourth largest island of the Ionian Sea. It is located south of Corfu and very close to the coasts of the Greek mainland, to which it is connected with a bridge and visitors come by car. The name of the island means “white” thanks to the white abrupt rocks on the southern side of the island. With lush green nature, traditional villages and hospitable people, Lefkada is one of the most popular summer destinations in Greece.

Lefkadian Gem Villas are situated less than 2 km away from Porto Katsiki Beach, near the village of Athani.
Porto Katsiki is a stunning large beach with white pebbles, located on the beautiful west coast of Lefkada Island. It is famous for its crystal-clear azure and turquoise waters and breathtaking sunsets. As one of the most iconic and well-known beaches in the Mediterranean, it is a true landmark of the island. During the peak summer months, the beach is lively, featuring beach canteens and a restaurant. Access to Porto Katsiki is via the main road, and it takes approximately 20 minutes to walk there from the villas. Egremni Beach is also just 8 km away.
The villas are easily accessible by car, as they are located along the main road leading to the beach, yet positioned on an elevated hillside. This location offers guests peace, privacy, and uninterrupted views of the Ionian Sea from the comfort of their own poolside loungers.
The nearest restaurant is located 3 km from the villas. In the village of Athani, about a 10-minute drive away, guests can find mini-markets and traditional tavernas. The village of Vasiliki is just a 20-minute drive away and offers larger supermarkets, gas stations, a pharmacy, bakeries, ATMs, as well as numerous restaurants and cafés. Lefkada Town is approximately one hour away. The nearest airport, Aktion Airport in Preveza (PVK), is about 1 hour and 30 minutes away.
